To install DynCrypto follow each step described below:

1. Download the software

To download DynCrypto, click here.

2. Register the Component

1. Create a directory. For example: "dyncrypto"
2. Unzip "dyncryptoXX.zip" and save to the newly-created directory
3. Open a DOS window and move to directory "dyndcrypto"
4. At the prompt, enter:

REGSVR32.EXE DYNCRYPTOxxx.DLL   [ENTER] 

Where xxx is the version number of the component.
(The exact name of the DLL found in the ZIP package must be used here)

A success message should be displayed.

3. Save your license information

A license is needed to use DynCrypto. To purchase a license, click here. To receive a thirty day evaluation key, go to the Evaluation Key request form.

A license includes two fields: an "Owner" and a "Key." This information must be stored in a file named LICENSE.INI, located in the directory in which the file DYNCRYPTO.DLL is stored:

• Copy your license information ("Owner" and "Key"). Include all lines between the the tags "Begin LICENSE.INI" and "End of File."
• Launch notepad.exe and create a new file
• Paste the license information
• Save the file in the SAME directory in which the file DYNCRYPTO.DLL is located and name it "LICENSE.INI"

The content of your LICENSE.INI file should be similar to the example below:

4. Test your installation

To verify that your installation is valid, simply run TEST.ASP or TEST.VBS. The following information should be displayed:

Version: 1.0.0
Library Version: 1.5
License: License Standard; Owner:30 Days Evaluation; Expire Date:1999/06/23;

DynCrypto ASP component is installed!
